The next time you get itchy for an afternoon at Zion National Park, you might want to take a little side trip instead and stroll a streamside trail tucked into the red crenellations beyond the bridge in Rockville on the route to Grafton. And bring your picnic basket.
At the junction where the Smithsonian Butte Backway meets the road to Grafton, a dirt pullout area under tall cottonwoods marks the beginning of a lovely stroll up Horse Valley Wash. I
