    some close family friends of mine, on two occasions (once in the 80s and once in the 90s) went to germany to buy a vanagon. then spent the entire summer traveling through the whole of europe, then had the vanagon shipped by boat/truck back to salt lake.

    Yep! I dont mess around with my treehuggin' peacenikin' liberal lovin' mother nature worshipin' mentality! heehee. LOL. Maybe I'm not quite that far out, but damn, that vanagon is pretty dang groovy!
