I'm new posting to this forum. Here's a couple shots of a beautiful summer sunset in Orem, UT. Plus one in the winter looking at Cascade mountain - near Provo, UT.

Great Western Trail near Layton, UT - overlooking Hill AFB to the west.

I can see the Hill runways in the forground. What zoom lens were you using to capture this shot? Ive wished many times I could be up there taking shots of the beautiful sunsets but time and responsibilities are not on my side.

I took that with my D80 using the 18-200mm VR lens at 150mm zoom. It was a challenge just to hold the camera steady enough to keep it reasonably sharp. I really wish I had brought a tripod...
