Yankee Doodle

Some of the canyoneers attending the ACA rendezvous asked for beta on Yankee Doodle so I finally got around to writing up a route description. This is a canyon I first heard about from Dick Shear about 4 or 5 years ago. I believe Dick "discovered" it while riding his ATV around Silver Reef.

Tom Talboys, Marc Olivares and myself did the canyon on the way home from a Zion trip. The canyon works well as an "on the way home" type adventure as it requires less then 1/2 day. This is a nifty little canyon outside of Zion so no stinking Backcountry Permit is required.
