The ab roller.
It says I'll have rock hard abs. That's BS. I've had it hanging in the garage for 3 years, and it hasn't done a damned thing for my abs.

Wedding Rings.
Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, as vital to our lives and water and good bread

Shane, how about Solomon Amphibians?
You still have that photo?Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Ha! We have one of those singing fish in my office right now. (we work with fish, someone got it for my boss.)
I was going to say wedding rings also!
When we got married, we didn't even have rings. We really only got them when we went back to see family 4 months later to avoid hassling. Mine is pretty and cool and all, but it doesn't "do" anything nor do I use it for anything.
Other than that, I'm pretty practical and don't buy alot of useless stuff.

There's plenty of things I've bought that were a mistake.....I can't even think of them all.....
Foam sleeping pads. Might as well sleep on the ground.
Performance cycling shorts (with chamois). The chamois fell apart after the 5th or 6th washing. My PI shorts are 2 seasons old and the chamois looks brand new....
Surly Crosscheck Cyclocross bike....everytime I race in a 'cross race, my legs and back ache, my lungs burn, sweat pours into my eyes, and I wonder why the ing hell I bought the thing for.....

I'd have to say my first two years of college. Talk about a load of total crap.Remember kids, don't try this at home. Try it at someone else's home.

I did the same thing to my solomons, first day I ever went canyoneering. Threw them inthe back of my pickup, let them rot and fade all summer and then took them back to REI in august. That'll teach 'em.
(I actually have no hard feelings toward REI or Salomon. I just had the wrong tool for the job.)
PriceIt's my job to call the BS around here. Get over it.
