Marjorie Lake hike and fish sunday
Sunday I'm going to hike into Marjorie to try and snag a few Grayling.
I don't have a schedule yet, but I'm pretty firm that I'm going. Carpool from the SLC valley option, too, gas is on me
Day hike, fish, hike out. Possibly dork around the area some, too, and fish other lakes.
Anyone interested?
Also, I'm wondering, what are some lures and flies I should add to my box for this? I'm going to haul both a fly rod and a spinning rod with me to cover all my bases.

Sounds like fun. Wish I could go. I visit that lake just for the gray's. Dark colored flies work well. I usually throw on a nice big, dark attractor pattern and then put a small Prince nymph on as a dropper. This is my grayling setup and it's deadly! I love that area. If you have the time try to get back into Big Elk lake. Have fun!

Well, we had fun, but them rascly grayling didn't show face. Marjorie was a bust. Fished 4 lakes and hiked around 8-9 miles in one day. More to come later....
