    Yellowstone NP TR 2006

I and my GF went to Yellowstone the first week of August I got some decent pics with my new camera so I thought I would share them somewhere. Backpacking and Camping seemed the most appropriate since we camped near Yellowstone.

First we saw some of the geysers and springs that are strewn throughout the park. In the background you can see Yellowstone Lake.

This was one of the cooler looking geysers.

Here are some of the wildlife we saw.

This Guy Posed up all nice so I could get a good pic.

Next was one of the more exciting things of the trip it is hard to see cause it took place about 300 yards away but this pic is of a bear eating the bison it took down so cool to see natural selection in nature.

Day one ended with this view.

Day two: We see this monster cruising about.

Then this guy decides to cross the road causing a traffic jam.

Finally this big critter decides to have a standoff with the auto, this is through the windshield. Stood there sniffing the car for like 30 seconds then moved on. We were glad he didn't decide to see how far his horns could go into the radiator.

Here are some other pictures taken though out the trip.

Here we have the cone-head skull rock formation. I think he was looking at me.

Here is a waterfall that we saw off of a place called Artist Point.

Finally last but not least is the view from the top of Mammoth Hot Springs.
So, Kid, you think you got what it takes to be a Punch King?

Those are some pretty sweet pics!! I have never seen a bear, not even in Yellowstone and I have been there probably 30 times? It is probably because I want to see one so bad.

Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.
