Peaks around Big Sandy Lake
Hey I'm heading up to the Winds at the end of the month and will be in the Big Sandy Lake area. Any info on 4th class climbs to some of the peaks in the area? I'd like to climb Temple Peak or Haystack but can't find any info online. Any suggestions on what is best? I will check out Kelsey's (no not that Kelsey) book from the library tomorrow to see if it has any info.
Eric.

I've climbed some of the 3rd class peaks around there. Mitchell is a good one. Sheister (spelling?) is nice. Haystack is borderline class 4. Warbonnet has a class 3 route, believe it or not! Interestingly, a friend and I are discussing heading to the winds to do Temple or something in there at the end of the month.
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
