Primal Quest 2006 a Success!
Thanks to all the volunteers, racers, staff and sponsors, Primal Quest Utah was an incredible success! Everyone who played a part in this year's event simply can not be thanked enough. From the racers who endured over 110-degree heat in the canyons to the tireless and sleepless efforts of our volunteers, this race wouldn't have been possible without you. Thank you.
Mark Your Calendars ・PQ Utah on ABC & ESPN!
You will be able to watch PQ Utah in high definition on ABC and ESPN Networks worldwide starting in October. The premier airing schedule is tentatively slated for:

October 9 ・12 (Episodes 1-4): ESPN2 / 7:30pm ・8:30pm EST

October 14 (Episode 5): ABC / 2:00pm ・3:00pm EST / 4:00pm ・5:00pm PST

Re-airings of all five, 1-hour episodes will be seen on various ESPN Networks worldwide. Check your local listings.
Primal Quest Utah Results
After 5 days and over a half-dozen lead changes, the competition outlasted the brutally hot and epic terrain in Southeastern Utah. With 450 miles behind them, Team Nike PowerBlast narrowly held on to victory over Team GoLite/Timberland. Team Merrell/Wigwam Adventure and Team Supplierpipeline were right behind the leaders, finishing strong in third and fourth place respectively. In all, 28 of 89 teams finished the complete expedition course over 10 days of racing ・while another 28 ranked teams finished an abbreviated course.

PQ in the News
The conditions were so extreme at Primal Quest Utah that The Weather Channel Road Crew wanted to see it ・up close and personal. For those of you looking for a taste of some of the course footage and to see what the athletes (and staff/volunteers) endured. There are four Primal Quest videos in all and can be found at:
