No Name Canyon in PG
Hey what's the name of the canyon that is one canyon north of Battle Creek Canyon & Falls in Pleasant Grove? It's on the the north side of "G" mountain. We can't seem to find the name on the maps we have. We went part way up the trail the other day but had to turn back as night fell. Does the trail end up at Timp?
Thanks

I did a quick hike up Dry Canyon, just South of the battlecreek falls canyon and saw a good sized rattlesnake. Never seen them around here before.

I jumped off a log onto some sand and nearly landed on a fat rattler up Big Cottonwood Canyon last week. I'll admit it, I screamed and jumped. The rattler was as startled as I was, he didn't rattle but got out of there in a hurry.
Before that I hadn't really seen rattlers outside the desert environs...

i've seen a lot more snakes this year than ever before. I've seen loads of gardner snakes, a couple gopher snakes, now this rattler. Maybe it's because of the vole problem in lehi. LOL
My 3 year old nephew loves it, cause we keep catching him snakes.

..and the answer is "Grove Creek Canyon" off of about 500 North in Pleasant Grove. We found it on another map.
