Laid-back (and FREE) outdoor activities
I know everyone here are pretty hard-core outdoor enthusiasts, but if you're ever bored, not feeling up to marathon type activities but want to be outdoors, check out the Canyons (Park City area) on the weekends.
Each Fri or Sat night on the weekends during the summer, they offer free concerts open to the public. You can bring an ice chest of whatever you like to drink, spread out your chairs/blankets and enjoy. They have a lot of food vendors around as well for snacks/dinner and of course, you can't beat the beautiful open air surroundings. This weekend features a band that dates back to the 80s called The Tubes. Not my favorite band, but some may remember them and like their stuff. A great group from my home town of New Orleans will be playing next month - The Iguanas. Great blend of various styles of music, but some of their songs are a little suggestive in nature (i.e. The Liquor Song), so be forewarned.
