    Tarps

Tuesday I ordered me some 8 yrds of silnylon. It arived today. That is fast. Now I just have to talk my mom into sewing it together for me

Oh by the way, this wil make a 12X12 tarp and it only weighs 1.1 pound. Combined with my 1 Lb. Bivy this should be great. This will be a savings of 4 pounds!

    Can't wait for summer!

I bought the factory 2nd. If you read the note it states that the waterproofness is still perfect. The only reason it is a second is because it might have extra threads in it.

I pulled mine out and couildn't find anything wrong with it???

$43.40 shipped to my front door.

Tyvek may be very water resistant, but it's not water proof. It doesn't pack down real small either. Not bad on weight but Silnylon is alot lighter.

Besides, it's too hard to get. The last time I got a piece I had to run too far, hide till dark and even then I about got my head taken off with a 24oz Eastwing.
