I saw this in the latest Climbing Magazine, and looked it up on the net:

for as much as i'd like to trash on Aron Ralston, i just can't bring myself to. i'm still pretty damn impressed by his actions to stay alive.
yeah i read his book, and yeah i think he was consistently wreckless and irresponsible, but DAMN, the guy gave death the finger and lived to tell about it (ok a few fingers). wether i agree w/ his tact or not, that's pretty damn cool. i can only hope i stay that level headed if i ever get into that kid of situ.
i can't think of a more appropriate person to be pimpin' for beeper gear.
and i have to admit, the bionic climbing arm is pretty F'n cool.

I can't say anyhting bad about Aaron other than he did a good enough job promoting his book that I had to read it, once I did I enjoyed the reckless manner in which he lived his life (like me!!) He's just trying to make some cash!!
