My DAD had four tracks. I can't remember everything he had but it was quite a collection. Kingston Trio, Patsy Cline? Maybe 150 of them?

My first LP: Dark Side of the Moon

Purchased at the age of 12? I still have it too. It has been played over 300 times under a cheap sapphire needle and sounds like sh** but I keep it around anyway.

I have yet to purchase anything better.

Cassette - AC/DC Back in Black - I still have the original tape. Back when they were white. I'm going to frame it when it breaks.

8 Track - AC/DC Back in Black. Yes, 8 Track

CD - AC/DC Back in Black

It's true. Back in Black was the first in all 3 categories. At first I was thinking the first cassette was Michael Jackson's Thriller but that was my Mom's, so I didn't buy it.

PS - I'm a HUGE Aerosmith fan, too. I painted a giant Aerosmith wings on my bedroom wall when I was a teenager! Rock on!

    YOU LYING SKUNK!!!!

I remember you told me that you got that Van Halen cassette when some fool was kicking it down the hallway at your Jr. High. You said you picked it up and kept it.

I remember that it made sense because that cassette was cracked.

Get Darkside on CD (mandatory listening IMHO) along with a The Wizard of Oz video (Not "Blizzard of Oz", though Ozzy rocks ). Put Darkside on pause and start the movie (with the sound down on the movie and UP on Darkside). The MGM lion will roar three times. Take Darkside off pause exactly where the fourth roar would've been and let the trip begin . Psycotrophic and/or pharmaceutical enhancement optional.

Oh, don't try this on Sony equipment since their CD players play slow and will screw up the sync.

Roger Waters swears they didn't plan it. Totally cool synchronicity.

Remember kids, don't try this at home. Try it at someone else's home.

Ok maybe I didn't "buy" that one. And both of us did also have the white boy rap phase. I am too old to remember....

I just realized that I am old. I cant remember the carb settings and jetting that I was monkeying with last summer on my motorcycle. Time to start writing everything down.

I've done this about 10 times. Each time, I see something new. It had to be planned. I've found hundreds of syncs throughout.

Some people don't get it though, probably because their timing's off. That timing is everything.
