I've already been x-country skiing twice- yesterday and last week. Both at Little Mill campground up AF Canyon. Last week there was barely enough snow to ski on and I couldn't use my poles much because the tips were hitting asphalt. Yesterday, there was plenty of the fresh white stuff and my pole tips never hit anything other than snow. Here's hoping, unlike last season, that there's plenty more trips to come this year!
Are we there yet?

I haven't been much of a fan of Powder Mountain lately, with the whole Summit thing. That's another story though.
But today was the last day at the cheap price for the season, and there was some deep Pow Pow up there so I decided to head up for a few hours.
Cold as hell, but deep powder.
And the road coming down, long long lines of cars sliding and skidding and running into the snowbank, but we all made it I think.
