Sweet, thanks for posting the pic Shane, that gives it away for me. I know exactly where that picture was taken from. Now to just figure out where the drop in spot and all that is. I think I have a picture of those arches somewhere in my old 35mm stash. I guess doing old person tourist type hikes can pay off sometimes.
Eric.

Well, I'm still in the dark as to where it might be. Maybe Shaggy can "enlighten" me.

Moab slots
I've asked about Moab slots and have gotten back rumors of interesting things in Onion Creek and possibly something in Professor Creek. Scott Patterson seems to have posted some beta or something about the Onion creek slots somewheres, if you track him down (yahoo groups), he'd probably share since he seems like a nice guy. Oh and it seems like a while ago i tried to figure out where Lomatium canyon was and was able to pretty much pinpoint its location with google and basic "putting 2 and 2 together" skills.. I agree that beta for such an easily accessible and popular spot shouldn't be widely published since Arches may react adversely and close down canyoneering in the park. We better tread lightly and lay low. Personally, I think fin exploration rocks. The cracks and mini-slots can be highly stimulating to work your way through. I could spend days getting lost in there.

I don't claim to be a climber but I love to watch. See if you can figure out where this canyon is located?

Wow! That's a really cool looking canyon! My guess would be somewhere in the vicinity of Flaming Gorge?

Hey there. I started canyoneering on July 23rd, caught the bug and here is what I've done. Thanks Shane for taking this newbie along!

Unfortunately, on my last trip (egypt 3) I broke my anke while walking through a very easy part.
Laid up but not giving up.

Sorry about your ankle dude! How was Egypt 3 -- aside from breaking the ankle? I understand it's super tight.
