    TR -- Wasatch Crest

Sombeech and I were the only two able to make this ride. We met at 6:45am and tried to locate the wasatch crest shuttle. No show by him? Not cool

Hey accadacca & sombeech! Sweet ride pics. I have to admit that I have never seen a sign which says "no bikes allowed on this trail on odd numbered days!" Weird!

Yeah we should get in the habit of posting that with each TR. I will edit the post.

SUP pimp? Welcome to the site dude!!! Yeah, fortunately it is only one section of trail at the bottom. You can take another trail on the odd days. I guess to many smoked hikers and they got their way? Still a few around today though. Also the bikers that insist on going the opposite direction of traffic. I tried not to scare them too bad.

Hey we need some pictures of trails from your neck of the woods derstuka. BTW...I read that "Dictionary of Mtn Bike Slang" today. A good read! I think I may swipe it for a post over here.

I have some pictures from CA, but most are stationary, like parking lot photos or something. I need to take some better ones. On my to do list! I'll see what I have though. Oh, and feel free to use the mtn bike slang...no worries dude!

Man, when I clicked "submit" to post that last message, something weird happened and my internet browser started opening and replicating, and didn't stop. I had to shut it off the count at 80! Weird! I have viruscan, and a firewall, and I do regular scans, so I don't know what happened.

What can I say? That is some damn GORGEOUS scenery on that trail. Sweet ride? Is that near SLC? Well, within a couple of hours at least.

Thanks. Yes it was a very sweet ride. It's still considered SLC. It's up Big Cottonwood Canyon, which borders the east side of SLC. You'll have to try it.

    Nice slickrock pics.

It is about 35 minutes to the top of the canyon and the trail head. We are going to start hitting it after work. If we can talk the rest of the Ogden posse into it.

    OGDEN POSSE.......Talk about jail bait.

    How about some ideas:

    1- Fear no dirt!!!

    2- We munch on trees.

3- Trophy wives beware and clear the trail.

    4- Fear the MEAT!!!!

OK, here we go. Here's our motto. Taken right from Don's mission bike helmet.

ON THE STREET, KEEP THE MEAT. (repeated 3 times)

Don't ask what it means, it just says "meat" in it, so it has to be good.
