    4th Weekend

Spent the weekend in the Uintas. Took one short hike with the family up Ruth Lake Trail. There was only one other family up there at the lake. We continued on and had the whole area to ourselves.

Here's me and the little one taking a break.

    The family.

    Saige chasing sticks.

Then I left the family back at camp and hiked to a secret lake for our 2nd annual "catch a record grayling" trip. There were no records set this day except for all the snow. Biggest grayling was 16". The trail had plenty of snow, we lost the trial early in the hike but fortunately we had been up there before and knew where we were going. It was a great day!

It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Where is Ruth Lake? Is it near Lily Lake?

I have no idea if grayling are good eaten.

Ruth Lake trailhead is north of Mirror Lake, the parking area is on the west side of the highway.
