Thanks for the info! I don't think I have ever heard of leaving the beta in the window so that SAR can see it. Wouldn't it be better to leave it in a zip-lock under the wind-shield or something?

Well, our plan for this canyon was to start at 9AM. That would give us 8-9 hours of light. We woke up at about 8:45 AM..... which was later than we were wanting, but we just grabbed a couple packets...

You don't scare us too bad Tom, just a little!! ;) I actually love getting advice...... maybe not in some of the ways that you like giving it, but that just makes me suck down my pride and take it...

Yeah, I was only carrying 2 of my own so I did use a few of his on the expedition, but it was mostly his. I now have more of my own! :)

I am course going to continue in the sport! I love it! My wife is a little wary about it now, but I think she also going to join us on our next expedition. I think we will find a pretty easy canyon...

As for the choice of canyon for Tntrebel and I to do. I don't really think that it was a poor choice honestly. It would have been a really easy canyon for us to get through if Tntrebel hadn't of made...
