ChanMan,
Thanks, and good luck this weekend! If I were you, I'd try tossing the biggest spinners you have. It worked for me. I bet those tigers would even take a bass spinnerbait. In fact, maybe... -

Congrats to your wife on busting the slot! That's a great cutt. I'd be stoked to catch a cutt like that (who wouldn't be?).

LOAH, I don't think you'd be disappointed at Panguitch. With the slot limit in place, I see it producing big tigers and cutts for a long time (I wish rainbows were still included in that mix, too).

Panguitch 4/7: First Tigers and More
I really felt in need of a productive outing this week. I got out last weekend, but it resulted in about twice as much driving time than fishing time due to terrible weather. Howling wind and...

Minersville Success
I've had my eye on Minersville for a few weeks, having heard rumors of good ice-off fishing. My last trip there was two years ago, through the ice. I caught a few rainbows - my first ever ice...

[Trip Report] Minersville: First Trip of the Year
It had been seemingly forever since the last time I hit the water. I decided that needed to end this weekend. I had only been ice fishing twice before, and both were brutally cold and windy days at...

Yeah I'm hoping to make it out on the ice at least once this year. I need to pick a day when it's not windy and miserable because that is how both of my ice fishing outings have gone in the past...

Thanks man, not all were caught in the past year though. Most were caught in 2008, but a few in that compilation were from last year ('09) and '07.

Re: re:
Yep, last year they planted a bunch of those ugly, brood stock browns. I've seen some good-sized browns caught out of Piute (I believe LOAH caught one) but they all seem to have those stubby, chewed...

Piute and Sevier River 2-28
I am not very fond of my limited experiences with ice fishing. Therefore, ever since I heard of open water at Piute, it wasn't a tough decision as to where my next trip would take me. I've also been...
