I want to do a winter backpacking/ xcountry ski trip this winter in Southern Utah. Has anyone done this or have any advice on trails?

I'm heading up to Titcomb basin from Aug 26 to Sept 2nd. Been up there several times but only tried Gannet once... Didn't make it.

I rode the Basin last Sunday. It was fun but not if you're looking for technical downhill. More like mellow single track... The tibble fork ride has more technical sections than snow basin.

Yes, we packed in everything accept the fish ;) Everything else is dehydrated but surprisingly good!!

Sweet, I'm running up to bobsled. I'll be in the parking lot above Shriners Hospital at 9:00. If you or anyone else comes, I'll be in the white Land Rover.

I can't make it up there today but I would definitely be down to do that another time.

I'll probably be riding either Muller Park or Bobsled in the AM... I haven't ridden for a long time and just getting back into it ;)

This is a pretty mellow hike and very epic at the same time. That is, if you do the out-back instead of the loop. I did the loop a few years ago and that was kinda brutal. ...

The Cirque of The Towers, Windriver Range WY

You should do Gannet in the Winds. It's a good 65+ miler with epic wind river spires.

I'm heading out to the Cirque of The Towers tomorrow until next Tuesday. I'll post pics next week.

I used to ride this trail several times a week during high school. It can be the funnest downhill but you're right, the traffic is shit. I cannot count the number of times I went off the trail due...
