Excellent TR! Alcatraz is a great one; in my opinion the best in the roost by far. It's where we bring our friends who haven't canyoneered before (at least if they are reasonably athletic) to show...

Nice TR! Great photos. I did this back around '95, and had forgotten how pretty it was. It seems like it is not done that often; at least I don't hear people talking about it.

Hmm...,hadn't heard of the middle fork. I don't remember seeing a fork between the east and west forks.

You can camp virtually anywhere along the Escalante river near the mouth of Baker, or more...

I've done this twice as part of a longer backpack trip, once in '96 and once in '99. We took big packs through, and although a bit awkward in places, it wasn't really a problem. Steve Allen's and...

No,...he was born in '43, so that would put him at about 69. He is pretty fast. I once hiked up the MIA route with him after doing one the oak creek forks. 37 minutes from Kolob to the road (Ryan...

Davis Gulch is one of our favorites. Coyote is a nice canyon, but perhaps better as a leisurely 2 day back pack trip, with it's nice riparian atmosphere. Davis is more interesting slotwise.

    patching wetsuits

Does anyone have any good suggestions for what glue to use when patching wetsuits? I will be gluing neopreme scavenged from very old wetsuits onto old wetsuits.
