Favorite Uinta Spot
Mine would be Red Castle via Bald Mountain. Did it a few years ago and loved it. Absolutely gorgeous, fantastic hike, and decent fishing.
The previous TR about it made me very jealous. -

Can I damage a down sleeping bag by overly compressing it?
Thats basically my question. I don't keep it stored compressed, but just when I'm using it. I have a compression sack and really cinch it down.

A dead white moose was found up Logan Canyon last fall by a hunter if I remember right. Seems like they thought it died in a fall. Rare, but they seem to be around.

I'm thinking about taking the kids (1 & 3) down to little wild horse next month. I've never been there. Is there water in it in the spring? Would it be a better fall hike?
