I agree with Iceaxe - I have only worn a wetsuit while canyoneering. I did, however, recently go on a Colorado River trip and used a Kokatat dry suit (for 23 days). It was awesome, I give high praise...

Right off the bat, I would suggest two things for the night float: a powerful light, and good timing with the phase of the moon (fingers crossed for full).

I am still beginner-ish and I love the simplicity of the ATC. Why complicate things?
