Two different canyons. Boundary is on BLM land outside the park, south of Kolob, free and clear, no permit required, excellent canyon, shorted way to tick the MIA exit.

Oak Creek is on private...

Even if you DON'T get busted, tubes are unlikely to provide much if any fun in the Narrows. The water will likely be too low. (and they are not allowed, is my understanding).

I scored permits for Spry on Friday, Engelstead on Saturday, and plan on Birch Hollow on Sunday. Limits each day are 6, 6 and 8 let's say, and include me.

Saturday's Engelstead is open to all but...

I'll be out of town the 5th but will reserve permits for my Sat (Spry) and Sun (Mystery) trips Mon the 6th. (I'll get Friday's permit too :naughty: )
