not sure where to post this - but its a parallel universe for us off-road landlubbers. NOAA will phase out all paper marine charts (maps) in 5 years. AND - not even give you pdfs. You will only be able to get electronic charts to view on your chart plotter (or similar app). Talk about the end of an era.
But then again, my late father was born before commercial radio broadcasting began.
