Well, I'm off to Bear Lake this weekend for some swimming, camping (RV & Cabin) and ATV'ing.
Anybody going to be up there besides myself, family and friends?
The week after, I'm off to the Paiute for a full week of camping (RV) and ATV'ing & tent camping (on/off the trail).

Where are you riding near Bear Lake?
I'm not certain. This is our first time up there. A friend owns a cabin on the South East corner and he swears there's miles of trail riding and hiking. I saw an episode of AYL that confirms the availability of trails.Quote:

There's also some riding up almost every canyon on the west side of the lake up in Idaho, such as Paris & Bloomington canyons.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being hardest), this section of trail riding was easily a 5+
-Elevation
-Rocks
-Tree roots
-Low fallen tress obstructing the trail
-Deep snow drifts
-Severe off camber
-Loose soil
-Wild animals (moose, badger and a mountain lion)

Looks like you guys had a blast, nice to see everybody in helmets =:2thumbs: I need to get out and ride more.

Cool. I ride all those trails on my motorcycle quite frequently. I was up there too this weekend but didn't have my bike.
