Mostly Zebra Slot
Recently a facebook friend of mine invited me to go hike Zebra and Tunnel slot with him. What he didnt tell me was that he was leaving St George at 3AM so he could catch some sunrise photography at Devils Garden! Oh well I begrudgingly tagged along with the promise that I could sleep in the car the entire drive (of course I didnt as I didnt trust him not to fall asleep)
We arrived at Devils Garden just before the sun and had some decent light.

The main point of the trip was to scratch Zebra Canyon off my list. The first time I tried Zebra with my wife and brother in law some Europeans scared us off (my wife dresses up to hike and when they saw her looking all cute they suggested we try spooky and peekaboo) I am kind of glad they did. Not because we couldnt have done/found Zebra (at the time there was water in the canyon) but rather because spooky and peekaboo are soooooo much better/more fun hikes. While Zebra is awesome for a photographer (not claiming to be one ) it is a lot of buck for your bang! IMHO it is not a headliner when there are sooooo many amazing things off of hole in the rock road.
