Last Saturday (the 11th), I took my parents and younger brother down East Leprechaun Canyon. We had temperatures in the high 50s and sun the whole time. My dad and brother have done some canyons in the roost with me, but this was my mom's first time, and she loved it. We took our time in the slot, setting up 3 rappels and stopping occasionally to rest and enjoy the scenery. All anchors were in good shape, and the only water we ran into was a pothole about 5 minutes up-canyon from the mandatory rappel. We spent a total of about 4 hours in the slot itself. It was a good change up after doing only roost canyons last year.
