Awesome! If this weather keeps up I might have to put the sled away and get the quad back out and head out west

I'm headed out that way on Friday to check on one of my geocaches. I hope the weather stay nice.

Which cache? Weather is forecast to still be nice the remainder of the week. Tintic High Point (not your cache) is not accessible due to snow, but everything else in that area is good to go.

I did make it, but the other two videos don't prove it. I have video of hooking the winch cable and extension up, but its pretty boring. The photos above are the dry lake bed at the top..
*Apologies for the heavy breathing, but it was steep and very slippery *

Looks like a blast! Except for the stuck part of course...

Getting stuck is actually part of the fun. I have front & rear winches and over 200' of available cable/tow strap/tree saver. It's exhausting, but its also exhilarating knowing you can get out of virtually any situation. When all else fails, I also have a hand-saw, axe and shovel affixed to the rear rack... and when the crap really hits the fan, I always have a sidearm with extra magazines & ammo! :haha:

So were you alone? Sounds like you were prepared.

I do quite a bit of solo riding, but go VERY prepared to spend up to 3 nights if I get stuck (MRE's, fire, ammo, etc). I've just to get so stuck that I couldn't get myself out. Early last year was the closets above Monroe Mountain when we were stuck in some deep snow and used over 300' of combined winch & tow straps to reach a USFS sign to pull ourselves out.
