I don't feel like spending $50 bucks on a download to convert my DVD's to a RIM usable MP4 file.
Anyone have any better opinions on getting my DVD's onto my Blackberry? :ne_nau:

I finally got tired of screwing around trying to find free programs to convert everything and bought DVDFab Platinum. It converts and copys everything I need done. Best of all you just put in a DVD and click convert iPod, Blackberry, yada, yada and it does everything, you don't need to know crap or flip any switches. The program was $50. There is a free version of it floating around but it doesn't do all the conversions, but the free copy does do a great job of making back up DVD's. Both versions strip out all protections.

There are some free programs floating around, but you will spend more then $50 in time before long screwing around with them and the always changing protections.
Just my 2 cents.

Are these commercial DVDs with copy protection? Or are they DVDs that you've created, consisting of TV recordings or Internet movies?Quote:

If you are talking about the former, I agree with Ice that it is easier to purchase a commercial product because RIAA effectively shut down the freebies sites. The one Ice recommends is good as are the products from Sly Soft:

Does your copy of DVDFab Platinum convert your DVDs to mobile formats? I ask because their website claims that you need their DVDFab Mobile Option for an additional $20 to accomplish this.Quote:
