Lehman Caves
Alright.... one of the biggest questions on this forum is what can I do with my young children or my fat ass lazy uncle Bob who wheezes when climbing the stairs. Well here is a little adventure that my family enjoyed. We were looking for a nice way to kill a Saturday and the whole family enjoyed the trip.

And a little tip, stay at the Border Inn if Moteling it, they have a descent restaurant, small bar and casino and this is the happening place for the entire area.... or at least as happening as such a rural area can be.

Ya Lehman's caves were very fun, I really enjoyed it with the family. We camped though, it was in the fall, so it got a bit cold at night, but sure saw a lot of wild life.
Great picks, Ice, thanks!

Normally they have "stops" on the tour where you can take pictures. But my family was the tour so we could stop anywhere we wanted. That made getting pictures much easier :2thumbs:
It was nice having our own personal guide and the tour all to our selves. The rangerettes told me that was typical of most winter tours.

That is quite smart to go there on off season, Shane. Do you have any pics of the surrounding area?

That place is pretty quiet in mid-summer; I can't imagine how dead it is winter. How much snow was there (above ground)?

I didn't take many pics of the surrounding area, but there was about 6" to 8" of snow at the cave entrance.
