Bear Lake Highline Trail Loop
I got a bit of a late start, but I ended up completing a great 60 mile loop. The trails overall were in good shape, but I ran into some large snow drifts at about 8,600 ft. I was the first motorcycle on the trail this year. There had been some bicycle riders that must have come through within the last week. I followed their tracks across some of the snow drifts for about a half mile. Walking my bike across them worked pretty well, but had me sweating from head to toe.
Mud, downed trees, and snow drifts makes for a challenging ride, but highly satisfying when complete. :crazycobasa: :ride:
