So we need camp chairs, cutting boards, towels, spices, radios, et al, but only one quart of water?
Wrong All you need is some wool tarp and a container:2thumbs: and a very good knife.
But by means bring your dog and hairy legged old lady that works for SUWA.LMAO
Sorry that is crued.
So I'll say pends on you
Too much crap...I carried most of that stuff on my very first extended backpack and a majority of it was absent on my second. Being able to make a fire and having extra calories to eat are really the most important essentials to carry, in my opinion.
yep got it. Knife ,lighter and tarp and snickers.:lol8:
Aint no one gona sneak rocks into my pack at breaks.
How do you know when you are taking too much stuff backpacking? When you need a list. :haha:
I can understand some people might want to write up a list. Certainly one person's list won't fit another person.
I keep my stuff in bins that are labeled, such as Water, Stoves, Rope, Fuel, etc. Depending on where I'm going I just start grabbing stuff from the bins. If I'm going with 2 or 3 other people that I know, I may not need a water purifier. If it's an over night pack, I might not need a stove. If there are bugs, I might need a tent. It just depends.
