I'm pretty sure it's a day use only area. I know you can't camp along the trail.

The Poison Spider trailhead definitely falls in the designated sites only section (the whole Colorado River corridor does).
I can't help you with the Gold Bar Arch, though.

I can remember camping at Big Bend in the early '70's. We were the only tent in the area. Nobody was camping anywhere along the river when we were there and nobody was hiking in the canyons. Have to take a number now. :haha:
