Tired of Winter
A couple weeks ago I had my fill of winter, snow and smog. To top it off work was kind of slow so I figured it was a good time to head somewhere warm for a week. I walked into the local travel agent and told her I wanted to go somewhere warm with a beach and I didn't really care where. The tricky part was I wanted to leave within the week while work was still slow. As a bonus my 20th wedding anniversary had come and gone in September and at the time we were much to busy to celebrate such an important point in time with anything more than a romantic dinner and night out.
SOOoooo.... long story short the hot young stripper wife and I spent a week in Mexico's Maya Riviera. Enjoy a short video of our day swimming with sea turtles and visiting the Mayan ruins of Tulum.

Where'd y'all stay, Playa de Carmen or further south?

Nice--Shane....
What was water temp?

We stayed at Grand Palladian Riviera, which is south of Playa del Carmen and just north of Tulum. The water was bathtub warm, not sure the exact temperature but you could swim in it for a couple hours and never get cold. Also spent a day at Xel-ha and did a snorkel trip down the river along with zip-lines and a bunch of other tourist type stuff. The resort was all-inclusive so mostly we stuffed ourselves with great food and drank gallons of booze between romantic interludes ;-)

I loved the lazy shark taking a ride on the turtle at 2:50.
That is some awesome wildlife you got to see! :haha:
