This is Sophie.
She's a classic 2003 GT Zaskar frame built up with a Rockshox Duke XC, a mix of Shimano XT and XTR, Avid Arch Rival front / SD 7 rear brake, Speed Dial SL levers, Race Face Turbine Crank, and a Race Face Carbon seatpost and handlebar. I also have two hand built wheelsets for her, one XTR/Mavic X517 with DT Revos and one LX/Mavix X717 with DT Comps for everyday use.

I ride a Santa Cruz Superlight with a Rohloff 14 speed internal hub. My wife has the girly version of the same bike.
I get out my camera following the spring tune-ups. :lol8: It hasn't been that clean since last April and won't be again for another 6-8 weeks.Quote:

Who says our bikes are soooooo clean!? Here is the aftermath of last monday's ride in corner canyon.
Here is my baby! A 2008 Specialized Safire. He and I had our differences when we first started out, but I think we have worked through them and we get along fine now. I just picked him up from the bike shop Monday we are both ready to ride!
Also included is a picture of him in his happiest state. Muddy! Taken after an attempt to ride Posion Spider in a down pour. The bastard Salsa is right next to him.
Specialized Stumpjumper Pro.
My Kona Hoss Deluxe. Size 22, and size does matter.

Had to resurrect this thread when I outfitted my ole' bastard with a set of Azonic Outlaws - in glorious anodized red.
You've got me drooling at those red rims! What brand of hubs are those ? Are they available for a 20mm thru axle fork ? I like the red salsa quick release, I have one of those on another bike for the rear wheel.:hail2thechief:
they're Azonic Outlaw wheels in 135mm. Also available in 150's - suitable for any bike you can build:nod:
...they come with several axle setups but I just put my Salsas on, you know, 'cause I gotta have matching bling...

Here it is this last Friday on Ben Lomond after our first taste of winter storms hit the mountains. Pretty fun riding that ridge in 3-4" of snow. :)

Nice Ride!
...I'm afraid my trusty steed has bought the farm. Came home from this mornings' ride, dismounted, looked down and saw two cracks. Can you say 'catastrophic frame failure'? The back crack wraps the frame almost all the way around, the front one more than half way. Time to look for a new frame...
