Barring some major catastrophic event Warren is way to far left to win the Presidency in a general election.
If crazy uncle Joe doesn't run I'm betting the Democrats pull some unknown out of the mist to run in 2020, same as they did when they put Obama up. At this time in the 2008 election Obama was an unknown.
I figure Spartacus will be the next one announcing a Presidential bid so I thought I'd start printing the T-shirts now so I could make a quick million... but to late.... Amazon is already flooded....

For the sake of discussion, what chances does Crazy Joe have at winning in 2020?
IMHO.... Crazy Joe is the Dem's best bet at the moment. If he runs, and if the Dem's elect him, I'd put his odds at 35% right now. But.... The Democratic primary is going to be a blood bath.
The Democrat party has an internal war brewing at the moment as its centrist and progressive wings vie for power. A lot depends on how that war shakes out. Trump won in 2016 because he appealed to many Democratic centrists, or what is sometimes referred to as "Blue Dog Democrats" (a Democrat who has a conservative voting record).
Trump will be hard to beat in 2020 as long as the economy remains healthy, we have low unemployment, and were not sucked into any stupid war. Trump can bang all the strippers and Russian unicorns he wants because Americans vote their pocketbooks.
Anyhoo.... that's my 2 cents at the moment. That could all change tomorrow.
I bet he will be the big ticket item. He speaks to the younger crowd, and his use of transition of his Irish name (Robert Francis) to a Spanish alternate (Beto) breaks the mold of the “old white guy” the DNC is trying to move from. I bet a Beto Trump showdown is a strong possibility.
In all honesty, I don't think she really believes she can win the election. The money earned via campaign donations though, that's more than worth it. Make some major millions here and there and it's worth it to take a punch to the face with the whole world watching.
Dems claim to be the progressive party of today's youth... first one into the race is 69 yrs old... 71 by the time of election. Uncle Joe is also getting up there in years. I'm thinking they throw up Beto.
And I don't see Trump winning again. I'm not convinced that he has gained supporters since taking office.
I can't think of an incumbent president that has ever lost during a growing economy... just sayin'
A Trump vs Beto debate would be fun, because you just know Trump would call him Francis... LOL....
This will at least be entertaining
Fox News' Pete Hegseth asked Trump whether Warren really thinks she could make him a one-term president.
"Well, that I don't know," Trump responded. "You’d have to ask her psychiatrist."

Exactly. She is so scary into herself and dense that she thinks the presidential age limit only applies to men ( if taking literal interpretation of the constitution), and thus she would be exempt from the age clause.

Lickenpooper.
1. Mr Biden - fairly well liked, "Uncle Joe" could make a serious run. Even though he's Democrat, he just has a likeable personality that has the ability to transcend party lines. That plus he's already got 8 years experience walking the halls of the White House.
2. Bernie -- although I think he's probably a distant #2 at this point. The dude is almost 80 freakin' years old. Plus many (if not most) conservatives consider him to be a socialist.
3. I can't see a clear cut third. The rest of the party is off the radar.
If I were betting today my money would be on Kamala Harris.
She has only been a senator for two years so she doesn't have a voting record on sticky issues.
She is a woman from immigrant parents so she checks the lefts identity politics boxes.
She is from deep blue California which is going to swing a huge stick in the primaries this year as they have moved their primaries from June to March just for this reason
She is 54 so she is old enough to claim experience but young enough to appeal to the Instagram crowd.
In other words she is a lot like Obama and how we end up with one of histories most useless presidents.

FWIW - at this point in the 2016 Presidential election the Democrats had already anointed Hillary for all practical purposes... and... low energy Jeb Bush had a huge lead among the GOP. Trump had not even entered the picture yet and wouldn't for several more months.

somewhere, in the final tally--beto will figure in.
the dems are tipping way left, interesting to see if the country as a whole buys in.
I don’t hate Trump, but I do like to make fun of him. I can appreciate a good laugh from either side of the fence.
I don’t have a horse in the race. Just saw this and thought I would post it to create a conversation. I’m more of a Bogley reporter and much less of a person with a strong opinion.
