Bilsteins are super rigid. I went Bilstein --> Fox 2.0 --> Falcon 2 SP3.3 and love these Falcons!
I thought you had a Jeep?
Anyway, I drive an F-150 (not the Raptor) and at 75K miles swapped out the stock shocks with Bilstiens...the yellow ones with the blue boots.
On the highway, they perform just like the stock ones did, which is just fine. However, when I drive on dirt/gravel/washboard roads the difference between the Bilstiens and stock is very noticeable. The Bilstiens are far superior on rougher roads.
If you have stock shocks on your truck and want to upgrade/replace, then I highly recommend the Bilstiens. It's the 4600 series.
For a Raptor...those Fox shocks that come stock are supposed to be pretty badass in and of themselves. Modifying, huh? What are you going to do to the vehicle? Jack it up 6 inches?
Bilsteins are a bit stiff but they are great for off-road use.
I just put an Icon stage 5 kit on my 4runner.
It's a completely different vehicle. Almost impossible to bottom them out but still rides nice
I'm running Bilsteins and this sucker ain't ever coming off the pavement unless I over cook a corner on track day at the local race track...
