Obviously you don't give the prez enough credit, he has his hands in everything.
The second to the last thing to believe is whatever comes out of the DOJ.
We'll see :haha:

You don't seem to understand how paid vacations work. You get paid on the same schedule on vacation as when you are working, so you can pay your bills on time. There is no set date as to when the back pay will be paid. Not the same as a paid vacation at all.
OK Ms Palin. But I expect the people on furlough understand things differently (and correctly). :lol8:
Ah, a typical expected response, resulting in either name calling or belittling, I'm surprised there was no Fox News or Rush reference.
The truth is, they will be made whole and this shut down will have proved nothing.

No name calling or belittling on my part, just think your response is funny. There is no timetable for the back pay so what do they tell their creditors in the meantime? This doesn't happen on a paid vacation which you insist they are on. And I didn't think I needed to reference Rush or Fox, but stubbornly ignoring reality is a hallmark of theirs. :haha: Seriously, it's great that they have been promised back pay, but they are still under hardships that are not part of paid vacations. Facts are true whether or not you want to believe them.
I hear ya, it's a bitch that they aren't getting paid, they actually had nothing to do with our government's screw up but they are paying the price.
It is nice that they'll be compensated in the end, I'm pretty sure they won't be getting any interest on those missed wages, but that really would help. I know a lot of Federal employees that are off work right now, and you're right, when they miss the payments or delay them, it might go on their record.
I'm hoping their creditors will give them a break, but I'm more hopeful that things will get started back up and neither they or the US will get their credit rating dinged.
