Darnold is way over rated.
But both of these are a good thing for Utah :-)
The big question is which one goes to Cleveland and which one goes to New York?

^^^2011 Sugar Bowl doesn't count...
Interesting week in the Pac. A few noteworthy games:
Stanford wins 17-3 over USC
Arizona State upsets #15 Michigan State 16-13 in Tempe, under new coach Herm Edwards and are 2-0.
Colorado beats Nebraska on the road 33-28. They are 2-0 with back-to-back road wins, last week at CSU.
Arizona gets waxed in Houston 45-18. They are 0-2 under new coach Kevin Sumlin.
Cal beats BYU in Provo 21-18 and is 2-0 under new coach Justin Wilcox. Previous win over UNC.
#8 Oklahoma waxes UCLA 49-21 in Norman. UCLA is 0-2 under new coach Chip Kelly. Lost their home opener to Cincinnati last week.
Washington, Oregon and Oregon State blow out weak opponents while Utah barely squeaks by NIU.
Not sure what to think about the Pac-12 this year, but overall it looks kinda weak.
Oregon looking good. USC and Wassu looked good. Nice to see teams with an offense.
Ah man, the ducks had them and fumbled with 1:30 left. Then they lose in OT.
So I watched Colorado (4-0) slaughter UCLA last night. Right now I'd say the Buffaloes are the best team in the South. As long as their QB says healthy they well be a force to be reckoned with. Their QB reminds me of Tim Tebow as he is big, strong, athletic, fast with a reasonable arm and he just keeps the chains moving on pure desire.

The Pac continues to eat itself alive from a playoff standpoint.
But on a positive note the Utes now control their own destiny :-)
I actually really like how the PAC is competitive top to bottom. We hear a lot about the SEC, but in reality they have several great teams and a bunch of shitty teams. Ditto the Big 10, the Big 12 mirrors the PAC and is usually fun to watch top to bottom.
Yeah, I know it sucks for how the mythical playoffs are structured, but I prefer to watch good football. I mean watching Alabama play Missouri yesterday... YAWN...
YMMV
Great matchups next week as the Trojans come to Salt Lake City and Colorado travels to Seattle. Hell next week at this time Colorado could be on a two game skid.
And how about UCLA beating Cal by 30 points - who saw that coming? The Bruins have been sleep walking up till now. Did they just wake up?
Yeah, crazy stuff.
See the timeline:
#20 Oregon beats #7 Stanford
Utah beats #14 Stanford
#17 Oregon beats #7 Washington
USC beats #19 Colorado
Next:
#12 Oregon plays #25 Washington State. Upset Alert?
There are only 3 teams left in the Pac with one loss:
1. Oregon (might lose this week)
2. Washington State (still has Washington and Colorado)
3. Colorado (will probably lose at Washington this week, still has Washington State)
They also have Utah still on their schedule, which is why Utah controls their own destiny. Winner of the PAC South will have 2 losses and possibly 3, which is why Saturday's game is HUGE.
FWIW - if you're betting Utah is currently favored in all of their remaining games.
