With the forecast for next week looking a bit warm ....this will be the last posted hike until cooler weather. Once the mercury hits 105°F.... we only share with family members. Be safe out there and always remember...

if you like it hot, try hiking down the trail from the Whitmore Overlook to the Colorado, especially in front of the black lava, at 1 pm, in May, on a clear sunny day, (midsummer would be worse).
