Utah needs to hammer the snot out of Colorado today to earn enough style points to get them into the playoffs. This is a rare chance for Utah to be seen on National TV during prime time.
If Utah wins out they will jump Alabama in the playoff picture with a conference Championship while Alabama is home sitting on the couch watching their championship game. And then it's just a matter of which one loss team looks the best down the stretch.

Alabama goes down! It's down to Utah or Georgia for the 4th seed at the moment.

Yeah I gotta agree here.
Go look at Oklahoma's schedule compared to Utah's and it's obvious. Oklahoma has wins over Texas, TCU, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, and Baylor. That's a damn tough schedule.
Utah on the other hand has wins over a bunch of soft Pac12 teams. Even the win at Washington doesn't look so good considering the Huskies are in a down year.
A lot depends on next week, but I don't think OU will jump Utah if all else is equal.... Utah is still in a must win game because if they lose they go to a second tier bowl. Utah has totally dominated in every game but two this year.
The strange thing in all of this is Oregon is probably going to the Rose Bowl win or lose.

The No. 14 Ducks open up as 4.5-point underdog against the No. 5 Utes according to Vegas Insider.

ESPN's Power Index has Utah a slight underdog with a 49% chance of winning. If betting it might be a good game to take the Ducks and the points.
If both teams bring their A-Game it should be a great Championship Game. I'm excited to watch it.

Thanks Auburn!

^^^Jaren doesn't look like he really knows how to put up the "U"
The country does not want to see Utah in the playoffs...

Utah has beaten eight straight Pac-12 opponents by an average of 29 points, while the Sooners recently beat Iowa State (42-41), Baylor (34-31) and TCU (28-24) by a combined eight points before last week’s more impressive 34-16 victory over 21st-ranked Oklahoma State.
Utah is favored by 6.5 tomorrow night. Who do you got and what will the score be?
Utah’s defense should have the edge if they can slow down Oregon’s offense.
I’m picking the Utes 41-24.

This should be great football.
Much preferred over any nfl game.
I think Utah is going to have to have a great offensive effort, led by Moss.
Defense will struggle against Herbert.
Utah 42
Ducks 38
I have 4 brothers and a nephew in Oregon, rooting against me--Go Utes.
Utah 38
Oregon 17
Utah's defense can hold any team in the country in check, including LSU and Ohio State. Utah has no weakness anywhere on the D sides of the ball.
The score will be relatively close at halftime and then Utah will slowly crush the Ducks in the second half with machine like precision just like they have done with almost every team they have played this year.
Go Utes!
