First bike ride for me this year, finally today. Rode the shoreline from the castle house in layton to my house in kaysville. Pic is at adams canyon trailhead.

How was the trail? I am itching to bring my bike back up from St. George.
Trail was great 2 small 20 ' sections
North facing that were wet. The rest of the trail was completely dry.

What/where is the "castle house in Layton"?
I like the front fender....so how many miles did you ride? How far south does the shorline go? Does it go all the way to farmington canyon?
I need to get out on the bike again real soon. AWESOME!
I rode approximately 7 miles. The trail disappears near the Kaysville animal shelter. I need to explore it further south, but then I would have to pedal uphill back to my house on the pavement. I am in better motorcyle riding shape than mountainbiking conditioning.
It does continue past the range and gets a little gnarly, you have to make sure the red flag isn't up or you may get shot
I guess its about time to pull my bike down from the rafters... :haha:
Sombeech--thanks for explaining the Castle House!
I've got all my bikes tuned up and ready to go now! Hopefully Friday after work I can get out on my road bike.
this last thursday redox & I got out on the trail again. it was all dry and very nice. there were many on the trail.

@REDFOX, this may or may not help out.

I should be riding right now, but this rain is putting a damper on my plans. The peddle bike is still hanging in the garage, but the Super Sherpa has seen plenty of action in the past few weeks.Attachment 52624
