Moose Lip Curl in Grand Teton National Park

I found a nice bull moose this morning at close range. The image above was cropped considerably to be able to show the face.
If you haven't been to the blog lately, I started a December Daily Updates a week ago.

This bull had apparently lost his first antler earlier in the morning. I have to get my Moose shots before more of them start dropping them. This bull resembles Washakie's antlers, but it's not him. Washakie is getting around with no visible limp now.
I've been getting good shots of the Bighorns on the National Elk Refuge. The December Updates page has quite a few of them on it. The rut is on now.
Flat Creek is frozen solid now. I am not sure if the Swans split or if they are hanging around in some of the open water on the Snake and the aerated ponds.
I found a few Cedar Waxwings on Mountain Ash berries yesterday, too.
