Well Draw
This is only a very short trip, but I like it!
Six miles north of Hanksville a view point is located beneath Hwy. 24. The landscape is colorful and always some people stop there to take pictures.
Only a short distance to the north a partly sandy trail leads in a western direction. After not much more than a mile this trail reaches a wash. My Topo Maps told me that this ist Well Draw.
Driving down to the wash needs only some minutes and we got some nice pictures. It also needed only these few minutes to create a thunderstorm west of the wash moving obviously in our direction. So we took the pictures and left the wash area.

On the way back to Hwy. 24 a hill with more "monuments" for the future:

Next time we try to travel down to Muddy Creek. Hope to find some colorful landscape.
