I've hiked Buckskin to Lee's Fairy a couple times in mid August. It was almost too hot to stand the last day, but the first 40 miles through the narrows were quite pleasant.
Chill under a rock during the day.
From White House via Middle Route Exit into the Gulch to the confluence and up to White House.
Temp. mid 90th F, inside the gulch smooth and soft moisture. Some pools from ankle to hip deep.( It was a rainstorm on the day before)
Way up to White House, slippery ankle deep water, hot - but a lot of fun.
Wire Pass - Buckskin Gulch, 6 mi in - then back.
Temp. low 90th F, inside the gulch - dry.
For your Cobra Arch hike.
If you like, you can hike from White House via Calf Spring to the Arch, and back along the rim of Paria River.
It's a beautiful hike w/ many contrasts.
