I was in Wendover this weekend. We awoke this morning to below freezing temps. No snow until we hit Grantsville en route home.. once in SoJo, it was coming down pretty good. I still had to take the Jeep to the carwash to get all the cow shit off it from our overlanding along the Grouse Creek area!
Broken records
Salt Lake City broke a nearly 50-year-old record low of 23 F Monday with temperatures reaching 22 F
Capitol Reef National Park, Cedar City Airport and Deer Creek Dam all tied previous records Monday with 25 F set in 2012, 12 F in 1970 and 13 F in 1970, respectively

So, if I turn on my heat this early in the year to warm up my house, does that increase the CO2 outside and cause the global warming to warm up the atmosphere, or does it accelarate the global cooling? I'm confused on what to do.
I think you are going to need a wood stove:ne_nau:
It’s officially the coldest October day in Salt Lake City history. What temperature are you reading?

Woke up to a foot of fresh snow on Thanksgiving morning. It's still coming down...
Why such a small database? Going back to 1981 and only covering 29 years isn't much of a reference frame when discussing geological time.
I see no reason they couldn't at least take a 100 year sample which is also the blink of an eye in geological time.

We've got tons of Global Warming piled up around here...oops, I meant "Climate Change". Is it not supposed to snow this time of year? Somebody please throw up another doomsday chart/graph to help get my head right...right?
Are they growing tomatoes outdoors in Alaska right now? Otherwise, I'm having a little trouble going along with the program.

Well, we were supposed to have this storm coming in all day in Salt Lake City, but so far it’s a dud.
Wow. I won't complain about winter as loudly around here, I guess.
