Is your gimbal set to "roll" when the drone yaws or turns? If so I think the image looks better when panning without this on. I'm just guessing that is how it's setup....nice sunset BTW. What UAV are you running?
Hmmm, I'm not quite sure what you mean. The gimbal pretty much just keeps the camera level, independent of the tilt of the drone. It does have a manual tilt I can do, but when the drone turns, the camera turns exactly with it.
It's a 2 axis gimbal, I think a 3 axis gimbal would help with what you are describing.
I'm flying with the 3DR Iris.
