Winter Trip to Gooseberry Mesa & Green Valley Express

We need to get go down to St. George and hit these trails sometime this winter. Sombeech, myself and another (soon to be user) friend went down in the winter one year and it was great.

We could also hit Vegas and the gambler could show us the ropes and maybe a few other things. :afro: The "all you can eat" crab at the Mandalay Bay never sucks! We could also plan a day hike somewhere down that way.

We need to look into it after the rabbit hunting and Wendover trip. Perhaps in Feb. Who would be interested in this trip? We can start to plan it here. eclipsee_steering

February would be a great time. I would have to avoid the weekend of the 19th, cuz that's my B-day.
Also, the weekend before that, 11th-12th, we have a school project. Maybe the first or last weekend?
There's the two necessary trails, but there's also some cool exploring in Snow Canyon. There's those big lava caves that are fun to go into, and there may be some decent bike trails around there also.
St George is the mid point for a lot of things. If we plan a big enough weekend, we could hit these possibilities:

Green Valley Loop
Snow Canyon
Zion's Ntl Park
Vegas-Mesquite
Slot Canyon?

Yeah I am definitely in! I think the last weekend in Feb. would be best. I would like to get it on my calendar. Anyone else want to go? As long as there are two of us I am game. Rockgremlin is going with us to Tempe and the Fiesta Bowl this weekend. I
